Armstrong launches medium range line

pressure gauge has added a new dimension range to its Design Envelope Permanent Magnet pumps which are engineered to ship 20% lower working costs than variable velocity pumps with normal induction motors.

The new pumps can be found with motors starting from 15 hp to 50 hp and function at NEMA Ultra-Premium Efficiency ranges that exceed the effectivity targets of both the US Department of Energy and the European Union.
The new Armstrong Design Envelope Pumps have several extra design options which make them more energy-efficient and cost-effective. These include Armstrong’s patented Parallel Sensorless Control which stages multiple pumps and regulates output for best effectivity across the whole pump array, saving 10-30% in operating prices. They even have adjustable design factors and setpoint primarily based on actual on-site conditions, a quadratic stress management curve that provides extra efficiency than a linear stress management curve and a constant-flow perform for sustaining a desired circulate rate in recirculation purposes.
The new pumps also offer superior connectivity via Armstrong’s Pump Manager, a Cloud-based efficiency monitoring service, which supplies high ranges of analytics and insights along with alerts, alarms and information storage.
David Lee, providing supervisor, Armstrong Fluid Technology, mentioned: “Better efficiency at larger RPMs means that in some instances a smaller Design Envelope Permanent Magnet Pump can deliver the identical flow and stress as a larger, costlier competing mannequin, These new pumps also feature smaller dimensions and are cheaper to buy and install as a result of permanent magnet motors offer a considerable reduction in both size and weight.”
