Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering systems. The firm employs around 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long custom of supporting clients and developing main industrial flow know-how for environment friendly, precise and protected dealing with of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are building our presence and expertise offering inside constructive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and sophisticated course of pump installations. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
