Atlas Copco has agreed to accumulate the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from personal fairness firm Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly in the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics functions.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing facilities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a world sales and service footprint. The company employs 265 individuals and had 2020 revenues of approximately €46.4 million.
“Industrial pumps is a segment that we have identified as a strategic fit for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has main differentiated expertise with a strong aftermarket enterprise,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area. “ เกจแรงดัน is a strong brand and is understood for high quality in demanding industrial purposes. This acquisition will create a strong basis for additional development in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired business will become part of the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is anticipated to be accomplished during the second quarter of 2022 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
