Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.

Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and complicated process pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has strong engineering functionality, providing complete industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is predicted to be completed through the second quarter 2022.
The major a part of the acquired businesses could have its base within the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller half will be part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
