Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will provide 62 solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint worldwide analysis and improvement challenge to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is under development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and would be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps will be an integral part of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps will be designed, built and examined at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are both part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
“We are elated that two of our corporations can provide products that will contribute to this bold project,” stated Mike Turmelle, managing director of Avingtrans’ Engineered Pumps and Motors Division. “We’re committed and proud to contribute to the superior nuclear trade.” เกจวัดน้ำยาแอร์refco follow earlier awards that ITER has made to Avingtrans’ Engineered Pumps and Motors Division.
