Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to assist the ITER challenge in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps whereas Energy Steel will provide sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint international research and development challenge to show the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is beneath development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the earth.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps might be an integral part of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps might be designed, built and examined at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are each part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
